This native buckeye bears yellow flower panicles in spring: a distinctive flowering tree with large palm-shaped compound leaves that turns golden-yellow in autumn on a low-branched, broadly rounded framework.

Low branched tree with a broad, oval-rounded crown.
Green compound leaves emerge in the spring, each with seven spreading oblong leaflets.
Clusters of single yellow flowers are followed by smooth-skinned buckeye fruit.
This species exhibits a showy fall colour.
Commonly used for specimen.
Grows best in full sun to partial shade.
