This small ornamental tree produces long, pendulous clusters of golden-yellow flowers in late spring, one of the most dramatic early-summer flowering trees, with a wisteria-like display on a compact, upright framework.

Upright, rounded to oval crown.
Bark colour remains green on young limbs.
Clover-like leaves are medium-green in the summer and have little fall colour.
Pendulous yellow chains of florets.
Commonly used for specimen.
Grows best in full sun to partial shade.
