  • Flowerlets ranging from white to light purple in cymes on leafless stems above the leaves; late spring
  • Deeply lobed leaves; leaflets may be lobed even more
  • Leaves sometimes look water-stained
  • Up to 20 flowerlets per cyme lead to round capsules which burst to release the seeds
  • Foliage height: 50-60 cm

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Grows best in rich moist soils in partial shade. Aggressive native groundcover perfect for reducing erosion and repopulating woodland areas where invasive plants have been removed. Not really suitable for small gardens. Plants sometimes go dormant in mid-summer.
