A native perennial with ornamental blooms valued for pollinator support in naturalized and border settings.
- Flowerlets ranging from white to light purple in cymes on leafless stems above the leaves; late spring
- Deeply lobed leaves; leaflets may be lobed even more
- Leaves sometimes look water-stained
- Up to 20 flowerlets per cyme lead to round capsules which burst to release the seeds
- Foliage height: 50-60 cm
