Sweet Fern

Its deeply lobed, fern-like leaves release a sweet, resinous fragrance when touched, and as a nitrogen-fixer, it actively improves the poor soils it grows in.

• Low-growing, colony-forming shrub that thrives in dry, sandy, acidic soils

• Spreads by rhizomes to form dense, weed-suppressing colonies
