Cornus x Stellar Pink® ('Rutgan')

This Kousa dogwood bears large flower bracts in early summer, two to three weeks after native dogwoods, on a graceful, horizontally branched tree with four-season ornamental interest including flowers, fruit, autumn colour, and exfoliating bark.

Sterile (producing no fruit), with resistance to diseases.
Drooping glossy green leaves.
Fall colour is scarlet to red, some purple.
Upright clump of tiered, horizontal branches.
Commonly used for specimen.
Grows best in full sun to partial shade.
