Southern Gentleman Winterberry, Southern Gentleman Black Alder

Southern Gentleman Winterberry is the essential male pollinator partner for Winter Red and other female ilex verticillata, without a male plant within 15 m, female winterberries produce no fruit; one Southern Gentleman can successfully pollinate up to seven female plants.
