Growing & Maintenance Tips
Any pruning to maintain size and shape on this woody perennial should be done in the winter or early spring to ensure next season's flowering. Fast growing, it will reach 125 cm in time for late summer flowering. In Hamilton, it can be coppiced every spring. Lespedeza is in the legume family, and is thus capable of fixing atmospheric nitrogen.
