Big Blue Sea Holly is a vigorous hybrid with large, vivid blue flower heads surrounded by prominent spiny bracts, the most intensely coloured and largest-headed of the readily available sea holly selections.

Drought tolerant, it grows best in an average to dry, well-drained soil, in full sun. It has a taproot, so once established, eryngium does not like to be disturbed.
