Satomi Flowering Dogwood

This Kousa dogwood bears large flower bracts in early summer, two to three weeks after native dogwoods, on a graceful, horizontally branched tree with four-season ornamental interest including flowers, fruit, autumn colour, and exfoliating bark.

• Pink-red flowers are later than other kousa cultivars.
• Spherical red fruit, resembling raspberries, are held singly.
• Drooping dark green leaves.
• Fall colour scarlet to red-purple.
• Narrow when young, wider with age.
• Commonly used for specimen.
• Grows best in full sun to partial shade.
