This multi-season native serviceberry delivers white flowers in early spring, edible purple-black fruit in early summer, and orange-red autumn colour.

• White star-shaped flowers open in very early spring, among the first small trees to bloom in the Ontario landscape.
• Sweet, blueberry-like fruit ripens in early summer and is edible for people and attractive to birds, often harvested before the birds arrive.
• Foliage turns orange-red in autumn; smooth grey bark provides elegant winter structure.
• Best in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained soil.
