Grows best in dry to average moisture, in a gritty, well-drained, alkaline soil. They will tolerate partial shade, but may produce fewer flowers. Should be divided every 2-3 years to rejuvenate. Remove spent flowers and shear foliage to maintain shape and compact habit.
