  • Highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, one of the most pollinator-productive perennials for Ontario gardens.
  • Mounding habit, reaching 30 cm at maturity; drought tolerant once established; excellent drainage is essential, avoid waterlogged winter soils.
  • Best in partial shade to full shade with moist, average, wet soil.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Grows best in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in partial to full shade and is intolerant of prolonged periods of drought. Flowers prolifically, which  sometimes prevents the foliage from fully maturing. Although the blooms are attractive, it is recommended to prune the clump back before they finish flowering, to encourage new foliage for the rest of the season.
