Typically available in rootstocks E.M.26 (dwarf) and M.M.106 (semi-dwarf).More than one cultivar must be planted in order to facilitate the  best pollination and subsequent fruit production.However, 'Jonagold' is in a limited class and is not capable of pollinating any other apples.

Also referred to as Apple, Apples. A cross of 'Jonathan' and 'Golden Delicious' apples. The botanical name for Jonagold Apple has been updated from Apple x 'Jonagold' to Malus domestica 'Jonagold'.
