Golden Rain Tree

This small to medium ornamental tree bears large panicles of yellow flowers in midsummer, one of the few trees to bloom reliably in July, followed by papery, lantern-like seed pods and good autumn colour.

• Open-branched, irregular shape with a rounded crown.
• Feathery compound leaves emerge pink-purple in the spring, maturing to green.
• Inflated dry brown fruit capsules appear in the fall.
• Commonly used for specimen.
• Grows best in full sun.
