  • Red flowers are produced in summer in dense clusters above the foliage.
  • Foliage is yellow, contributing season-long colour beyond the bloom period.
  • Mounding habit, reaching 80 cm at maturity; shear lightly after first bloom to encourage a second flush of flowers.
  • Best in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained soil.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Summer flowering spirea will flower with a good flush in late spring, and sporadically during the summer. To promote a second flush of bloom, remove spent flowers by pinching or light shearing. Any pruning for shape should be done in early spring to allow the flower buds to form.
