Notes
Though the stems are edible, the leaves are poisonous. Consumption of one leaf can seriously harm a child. Stalks are edible and safe for consumption; leaves contain oxalic acid and are toxic to both humans and pets and must not be consumed. The botanical name for German Wine Rhubarb has been updated from Rhubarb x 'German Wine' to Rheum rhabarbarum 'German Wine'.
