Common Spikerush

A native aquatic grass with a dense rhizomatous root system that provides excellent shore stabilization and habitat value in water plantings.

• Narrow dark green round stems spread by rhizomatous roots
• A dark reddish-purple sheath surrounds the base of the stems
• Each stem features a small dark brown oblong flower spike
• Height is dependent on the water depth of the habitat
