This flowering dogwood tree bears large flower bracts in spring: a four-season ornamental valued for its flowers, summer foliage, vivid autumn colour, and attractive fruit clusters.

Masses of white flowers with white centres appear before the leaves.
Glossy oval red fruit, held in clusters, are attractive to birds.
Drooping glossy green leaves are mildew resistant.
Fall colour is scarlet to red, almost pink.
Upright clump with tiered, horizontal branches.
Commonly used for specimen.
Grows best in full sun to partial shade.
