Notwoodthree Blue Chiffon® Rose of Sharon is a late-summer-blooming Rose of Sharon bearing large blue flowers from midsummer through early autumn, one of the few woody shrubs that delivers reliable bloom during the quiet season between summer perennials and autumn colour.

Semi-double blue flowers with just a bit of red in the centres.
Seed capsules persist, adding winter interest.
Almost sterile, producing few viable seeds.
Variably palmate leaves emerge late in spring.
Yellowish foliage in the fall.
Upright, vase-shaped habit.

Tolerant of a range of soils and conditions, but is best grown in a well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. Hibiscus can be trained or pruned into a tree form or grafted as a standard. Standards usually exhibit more globose heads than trained tree forms.
